Cape and Islands for Good
Information for volunteers
We are excited to announce a change in how the Cape and Islands United Way supports volunteerism in our community.

As you may know, we have managed the Cape Cod Volunteers website (capecodvolunteers.org) for the last five years. Through this site, you and many others have donated your time, energy and effort by volunteering to make a meaningful and lasting impact in our community. Building on that work, we have partnered with the Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA) and are launching a new site!

Announcing capeandislandsforgood.org
The transition from capecodvolunteers.org to capeforgood.org will be completed by October 31, 2020. After that date, capecodvolunteers.org will no longer be functional and all users will be redirected to the new site.

Thank you for your continued volunteerism in our community! If you have any questions, please reach out to jbarber@uwcapecod.org.
Our new platform, Cape and Islands for Good (capeandislandsforgood.org), is easy to use, visually pleasing and allows for quick and succinct sharing of information.
As a local volunteer and/or user of capecodvolunteers.org, you’ll be pleased to know that one of the most notable features is the ability to access information and make connections to organizations without needing to create a user account. This is a process that, until now, has been cumbersome and has resulted in user delays.
Additionally, the new site allows individual users to:

-
Explore virtual volunteer opportunities
-
View real time volunteer needs and data
-
Read stories of impact by local organizations
-
Offer their talents, time, or treasure to support organizations

Please note that our local nonprofit partners will be updating their information on this new platform in the coming months. We are thrilled that you want to volunteer, and ask that you be patient as new opportunities to do so be made available.
