Effective the end of this month, our Director of Community Impact, Beth Bowman, will join the WE CAN team as Assistant Director. In this role, Beth will assume oversight and management of programs, as well as play a leadership role in organizational planning, operations and development functions.
"This is such a great opportunity for Beth, WE CAN and the entire community. Beth has made a meaningful impact on our work here at the United Way over the last four years and we are tremendously grateful. And while we are sorry to see here leave us, we know Beth will continue to serve an important role in our community through WE CAN."
– Mark Skala, President and CEO of the Cape and Islands United Way
"As a Cape & Islands United Way funded agency, we prioritize and value program evaluation, result-based accountability, and collaboration. Beth brings deep experience to WE CAN in these key areas because of her work at the Cape & Islands United Way. Her leadership and skills will make a positive impact in the lives of the thousands of women we serve each year."
– Lisa Guyon, Executive Director of WE CAN
While we are so sorry to see her go, we couldn’t be happier for her as she takes on new challenges for this wonderful organization!
