COVID-19: What we're doing, and how you can help.

Updated: Apr 10, 2020

Supporting the local nonprofits that support our community

In this time of crisis, we are committed to providing access to funds quickly and efficiently, to community-based organizations working on the front lines.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, we have partnered with the Major Crisis Relief Fund and the Cape Cod Foundation to serve the community from all angles.

  • The Major Crisis Relief Fund will provide assistance directly to individuals and families in need.

  • The Cape Cod Foundation will provide operating support and organizational assistance to local non profits associated with longer term needs.

  • The Cape and Islands United Way will provide program support funding for current and recent community partners. 100% of the donations received for this fund will be used to serve your community.

Donate today and make a real difference.

You can help us bring much needed relief to our community by donating to Community Response Fund. It is clear that these funds will be needed in the very short term. We are working hard to get resources to our community partners so they can meet the needs of our neighbors, family and friends impacted by this outbreak.

How your gift can help

The first priority area of funding will be for organizations providing access to basic needs during this crisis. We are working to ensure that:

  • Our food insecure neighbors have enough to eat

  • Low income families can care for their children

  • We help keep people at risk of homelessness in their homes

  • Essential employees have access to quality child care when they need to be at work

Thank you for being a part of our amazing Cape & Islands community. We will get through this together.
