Baby Shower a Community Success

In the spirit of a traditional baby shower, our first Community Baby Shower on April 29th was a celebration for new and expectant mothers. The event also served low-income families by showering them with baby supplies and access to valuable resources – to help give them a stronger start to parenthood.

The Community Baby Shower stems from our Strong from the Start initiative, a platform of programs and activities designed to reduce the achievement gap, create an ecosystem of care and connection for parents of young children, and promote positive social and emotional development of children ages 0 to 3.

It takes a village, and we are blessed with a great one.
