National Grid and the Cape & Islands United Way

2025 Fuel Assistance Grant Application for Nonprofit Partners

The Cape and Islands United Way has received generous funding from National Grid's charitable foundation to help provide relief for winter heating costs.

​

Grants from $5,000 to $15,000 will be awarded to Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard nonprofits working to keep residents warm this winter.

HELPFUL TIPS / FAQS
  • Grants are reviewed by community volunteers who may or may not have prior knowledge of the applicant or the program. Please write the grant so that anyone will have an understanding of your program.

  • Be clear and concise as you make the case for funding the proposed program.

  • Your application will not be complete without answering ALL required questions.

  • 1ST ROUND GRANTS DUE: Friday, January 17, 2025
